Online Bookings
Due to the current social distancing efforts in the setting of COVID-19, patients are encouraged to consider the ease and convenience of telehealth appointments, with shorter wait lists and reduced fees.
Please note before booking…
We prefer you to be referred by your GP or specialist, although it is not strictly required. Please be aware you may be referred to an appropriate physician during treatment, particularly if you have not been reviewed by an Ear Nose & Throat specialist or Respiratory specialist within the last 12 months.
FOR COUGH CLINIC REFERRALS:
We ask that all patients meet at least the following criteria before booking an appointment:
1. Cough has persisted for more than 2 months.
2. No current upper respiratory tract infection.
TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS
With telehealth, you don’t have to travel to our clinics for your appointment, you can instead have your consultation from the comfort of your home or at work. You can choose between a telehealth appointment using a computer or tablet/smartphone with webcam video. Normal telephone call consultations are also an option.
As well as offering convenience, telehealth services can improve access for patients with mobility or transportation issues, as well as those that are unwell or immunocompromised. With the advent of COVID-19, patients may also require a necessary alternative to face-to-face consultation.
You do not need to download any software if using your computer. An invitation with a link to join an online video call will simply be emailed to you. Please book at least a day or two in advance to properly prepare and complete payment prior to the session.
